Context
Modino is a product focused on managing remote updates for IoT devices in environments where reliability and safety are critical. The core challenge was to design a workflow that could support complex deployment logic while remaining understandable to both technical and operational users.

Approach
The work started by aligning engineering, product, and operations stakeholders around how updates were currently executed and where failures occurred.
Instead of optimizing screens, the focus shifted to redesigning the decision flow behind deployments — especially where risk is introduced, evaluated, and resolved.
Leveraging an engineering background and product design practice, I translated system constraints into clear operational choices teams could act on with less ambiguity.
Execution
I designed a structured workflow that made update states, risk levels, and rollback paths explicit within the interface. The system was built around clarity of action rather than interface density.
The resulting experience reduced ambiguity in deployment decisions and helped teams better understand system state during critical operations.
Outcomes
The final design introduced a clearer operational model for remote updates, improving confidence in deployment decisions and reducing uncertainty across teams responsible for system execution.
